Dear Chadian compatriots residing in the United States,
I am writing this message on behalf of the Embassy to inform you about the upcoming presidential elections scheduled for May 6th. These elections are of great importance to our nation and the future of our country.

We want to remind you that polling stations will be set up in Washington DC and New York so that you can exercise your right to vote and participate in this crucial democratic process.

President Mahamat Idriss Déby's message of unity is clear: he emphasizes the importance of these elections and the need to respect the will of the Chadian people. Despite challenges and criticisms, President Déby expresses confidence in the National Electoral Management Agency (ANGE), highlighting its independence and crucial role in the electoral process.

Therefore, we encourage all of you to actively participate in these elections by expressing your voice and choosing the president who will lead our country for the next five years. Respecting the will of the people is paramount, and we are confident that the electoral process will be conducted transparently and democratically.

We thank you for your commitment to our homeland and for your participation in this democratic process. If you need more information about polling stations or the electoral process, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Together, let us make our voices heard and contribute to the future of our beloved Chad.
