DIPLOMACY: Meeting of the new Ambassador  of Chad Kitoko Gâta with the Chair and President of Exim Bank Reta Jo Lewis: Opening of prospects for economic and commercial cooperation

 

Chad's new ambassador recently met with Reta Jo Lewis, President of the U.S. Export-Import Bank, to explore opportunities for cooperation and partnership between the United States and the Chadian government. This meeting is of great importance because it opens the way to opportunities to promote bilateral trade and investment in Chad.

The Chadian ambassador, representing her country with diligence and ambition, discussed with Ms. Lewis key areas where closer collaboration could be envisaged. As President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, she has more than 25 years of experience in international affairs, law, public policy and regulatory affairs. His extensive experience in these areas gives him a deep understanding of economic and trade issues between nations.

As President of the U.S. Export-Import Bank, Ms. Lewis was involved in the approval of significant financing for infrastructure projects.
