On August 11, 2023, Chad marked its 63rd independence anniversary with a celebration filled with symbolism in New Jersey. This celebration, despite geographical distances, underscores the unity and deep attachment of Chadians to their country. The choice of New Jersey as the celebration's location highlights the values of diversity and inclusion, reflecting Chad's cultural richness.

 

The Ambassador of Chad to the United States, H.E. Kitoko Gâta Ngoulou, participated in the event to express gratitude to the Chadian diaspora and local association leaders. The ceremony concluded with the raising of the Chadian and American flags, symbolizing cooperation between the two nations.
