Today, on August 3, 2023, six young Chadians, including three girls and three boys, who participated in the YALI Mandela Washington Fellowship Program 2023, were warmly welcomed by His Excellency Kitoko Gala at the Embassy located at 2401 Massachusetts Ave NW in Washington DC. The event was filled with pride and recognition as H.E. Kitoko Gala congratulated the youth for their exceptional commitment to the program and their dedication to the development of their country. The awardees had the opportunity to share their experiences and lessons learned from their participation in the program, reinforcing their determination to contribute to Chad's progress.

 

This gathering at the Embassy was a precious opportunity for the young Chadians to connect with influential figures and build relationships with other emerging leaders from around the world. H.E. Kitoko Gala expressed his ongoing support for their commitment and encouraged these young talents to become agents of positive change in their country and beyond. The young awardees left inspired and determined to use the skills acquired through YALI Mandela Washington to contribute to Chad's sustainable development and make a significant impact in their respective communities.
