DIPLOMACY: H.E. Kittoko Gata, the Ambassador of Chad to the United States, participated in the presentation on the situation in the Central African Republic on October 27, 2023.

Washington, D.C. – A high-level diplomatic meeting was recently held in Washington, bringing together influential figures in the world of international politics. The event, which took place on October 27, was marked by the presentation on the situation in the Central African Republic by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Central African Republic, Ms. Sylvie Baïpo-Temon. Among the participants, the Ambassador of Chad to the United States, as well as many other diplomats and experts in international relations, were in attendance.

 

The United States Institute of Peace (USIP) hosted this event, which attracted the attention of numerous key players in the diplomatic world. Lisa Grande, President of USIP, and Dr. Joseph Sany, Vice President of the Africa Center, were among the notable figures present. The Ambassador of Rwanda to the United States, Maltilde Mukantoban, the Ambassadors of the Central African Republic and Cameroon, as well as several distinguished guests, including Morrison Gregory from the Department of State, Alexis Arieff from the Congressional Research Service, and Dr. Jude Morah, also attended the meeting.
