The Ambassador of Chad, H.E. Kitoko Gat, Meets His Counterpart from Côte d'Ivoire, H.E. Ibrahima Touré

On Friday, October 13, 2023, in Washington, D.C., Ambassadors H.E. Kitoko Gat of Chad and H.E. Ibrahima Touré of Côte d'Ivoire recently forged strong bonds during a meeting filled with reunions and joy. This meeting was all the more special as it followed their initial official meeting at the Embassy of Côte d'Ivoire last May. The two diplomats, who are geographically close, separated only by Massachusetts Avenue, share a similar generation and a common vision of diplomacy.

 During this recent audience, Ambassador Kitoko Gat and Ambassador Ibrahima Touré discussed cooperation and teamwork aimed at promoting progress within the diplomatic community in Washington, D.C. Their commitment to the consolidation of diplomatic relations between their two nations was evident, and their desire to collaborate closely was one of the top priorities discussed.

In a constructive discussion lasting one hour, the two ambassadors exchanged ideas and perspectives on how to strengthen the ties between Chad and Côte d'Ivoire, as well as on diplomatic issues of mutual interest.
