The ceremony took place at the Westin Grand Central and brought together prominent figures from the Jewish, Muslim, and other communities. President Mahamat Deby Itno represented Chad, a friendly nation to all. AJC awarded the Human Dignity Award to His Eminence Shaykh Abdallah Bin Bayyah in recognition of his outstanding contributions to interreligious cooperation. AJC advocates for the Jewish people, Israel, and democratic values.
