150 Years of Turkey's Independence: A Historic Celebration in the Presence of the Chadian Ambassador to the United States.

On July 14, 2023, the Chadian Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Kitoko Gata, took part in the celebration of Turkey's 150 years of independence, marking a significant historical event. 

The speeches delivered during the event highlighted the importance of independence and the heroism of the Turkish people. The Turkish Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Hassan Murat Mercan, expressed gratitude to the attending guests and paid tribute to the courage of the Turkish people in their fight to preserve democracy, particularly during the events of the failed coup attempt in July 2016. He emphasized Turkey's strength and key role in global decisions, as well as its commitment to regional unity. 

The commemoration of this event was marked by a solemn atmosphere, where Turkey's history and heritage were brought to the forefront. The ceremony concluded with a cocktail, providing an opportunity for informal exchanges among the guests and further strengthening diplomatic ties.
